We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and capable Finance Assistant to join one of our clients in Fareham. You will become a key player within the finance team supporting with the day to day duties. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with a one hour lunch break.
Duties:
To support the Finance Manager to ensure accurate customer invoicing and recording of cost of sales into finance system.
To assist the finance team with daily cash flow projections
Support in preparation of budgets and forecasts and pull reports from Xero
Work on ad-hoc projects and improvements to the overall operation of the business
Produce and manage the customer Direct Debit spreadsheet, updating as and when payments have been made
Running monthly Management Fee invoices and Fleet Management recharge invoices
Setting up DD allocations on the bank system raise sales and purchase invoices as requested
Monitor the rental book of income
Work closely with operational teams and assist with queries Support improvement work streams and continuously strive to improve own operating standards and methods in order to meet and exceed targets
Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries
Desirable Skills:
Motor Trade Experience desirable but not essential
You will need to have a “can do” attitude and a proactive approach to your work
Numerate with good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
