Purchasing Administrator – £20,717

We are pleased to be working with a well-established Manufacturing company within the Romsey area who are looking for an Administrator who will be working within a small busy friendly team environment so you need to be happy to get stuck in. Our Client has been trading since 1976, and is the market leading provider in the UK in their industry.  Innovating, designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining for over 40 years in Hampshire, has lead them to be renowned for high quality products and a high quality service.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.15pm and Fridays 8.30am to 1.00pm

Duties include processing daily purchase requests/orders, maintain records of goods ordered & received, update stock levels , handle product queries, credits, and returns, checking incoming paperwork (correspondence, invoices, order confirmations) and filing accordingly, answer incoming phone calls and corresponding in a timely manner to all queries.

You will need to have:

Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Be a good team player but with the ability to work alone when required.

Financial and commercial awareness

Proficient in Word and Excel and comfortable to use In house systems.
