Project Support Administrator – £23.5k – £28k (DOE)

We have an excellent career opportunity for a dynamic candidate to join the Sales and Project team as an Internal Sales/Project Support coordinator.

The Role

This is a multi-facetted role to include supporting customers in the processing of their enquiries and orders, to provide support the Sales Development team with planning and coordination and to work with the Projects team in preparation of tenders and supporting documentation. Office based. Our ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic, goal-oriented, have good organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team.

Core Tasks and Duties

• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements whilst identify sales opportunities

• Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails

• Process orders, check data accuracy in orders and invoices

• Preparation of quotations

• To provide support within the sales and projects office

• Preparing material take-offs • Maintaining and improving the database of prospects and opportunities

Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries

• Assist Projects Department in preparation of proposals and tenders

• To support and coordinate marketing campaigns

• To provide analysis of sales and marketing activities Desired Skills and Requirements

• Proven work experience in a sales / project office environment would be advantageous

• Excellent communicator

• Highly organised and efficient

• A desire to exceed expectations

• Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office – MS Excel in particular

• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills

• A team player with high level of dedication

• Ability to work under strict deadlines

• 5 GCSE’s including maths and English language

• NVQ in Business / Office Administration, or similar, would be desirable

• IT qualification in Microsoft Office would be desirable

Salary

£23,500 to £28,000 dependent on experience and skills

Hours of work

Your normal days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. You will be entitled to a 50-minute unpaid lunch break to be taken at times to suit your current workload. Flexible working and/or reduced hours would be considered for the right applicant. Holiday Entitlement 25 days paid annual leave plus pub
