We are recruiting for a Temporary Payroll Clerk to support one of our clients located at their Head Office in Southampton, working on a 6 – 9 month Fixed Term Contract. Working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday but our client would also consider the following hours, 4 days full time or 5 days 9:00am to 3:00pm would be considered.
You will be supporting the Finance Team and carrying out the following duties: for the payroll function including manual calculation and processing of SSP, SMP, Pensions, and NI Exemptions. You will also be processing timesheets, doing payment runs and processing any expenses, Reconciliations, producing weekly reports as needed and dealing with any queries.
What we are looking for:

- Able to build positive working relationships.
- Comfortable using Excel
- Excellent communication skills
